ORDINANCE N0 • ....;;2~33~6L-....: __ \0-.-;25 -\.95-=t AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO.; 1695 AND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 647: CHANGE CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREAFTER DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM AN "R-111 TO A 11C-411 ZONING DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation. which recommendation was received by the City Com- mission, and after due consideration~ the City Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; an~ WHEREAS~ ; all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving all notices in compliance with Section 2.0 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article 1011£, Vernonrs Annotated Civil Statutes, as amended in 19537 and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such proposed amenchnent, and the public-hearing according to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room ou the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time per- sons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said public hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interes~ due to changed conditions$ that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this ordinance, and this ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereofJ NOW._ THEREFORE; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISS[ON OF THE CITY OF LUBBOC~1 SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby a.tnended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO• 647 : Change the following described property in the City of Lubbock. Lubbock County, Texas, from an 11R.-l 11 to a 11C-411 zoning district: BEGINNING at a concrete right-of-way marker set by highway which bears south 0° 03t 4511 east, 100 feet and north 89° 151-east 169. 9 feet from the northwest corner of Section 4, Block 0, Lubbock County, Texas; 0 THENCE north 89 151 east. a distance of 2.96 feet to a 3/4" rod; THENCE north 86 ° 2.3t east a distance of 200. 2. feet to .a 1/2.11 rodJ THENCE north 83° 32.t east a distance of 301. 5 feet to a 1/2.11 rod; 0 -THENCE north 89 151' east a distance of 2.15 feet to a pointJ 0 t THENCE south 0 01 t west a distance of 450 feet to a point; THENCE south a9 ° 15 1 west to a point, said point being 6.60 }!~:l of the west line of said Section 4, Block 0; 0 THENCE south 0 o.l' west to apoint, said point being 660 feet east and 660 feet south of the northwest corner of said Section 4, Block 0; 0 THENCE south 89 15' west to a railroad spike set in pavement and being in the west line of said Section 4, Block 0; THENCE north 0° 03t 4511 west in the west line of saii Section 41 Block 0, a distance of 359 feet to a point; THENCE north 89° 15r east a distance of 49. 9 feet to a concrete right ... of-way marker; THENCE north 30° 341 1011 east a distance of 235.2 feet to the place of beginning. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this ordinance, said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof, shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated• and the Official Zoning Map is hereby a.rnended in accordance herewith. IO -t0-\95:1 ORDINANCE NO. &332 \0-;)5 -\95-=f AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FRANCHISE OF THE PioNEER NATURAL GAS COMPANY; DEFlN:LNG AND PRESCRIBING THE RATES APPLICABLE TO THE SALE OF NATURAL GAS AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE BY PIONEER NATURAL GAS COMPANY TO ITS CUSTOMERS WHO USE NATURAL GAS WITH- IN THE CITY LIMITS OF LUBBOCK AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND EFFECTlV~ DATE;CAND AMENDING SECTION 32-4 OF THE LUBBOCK CITY CODE OF 1955:) W'HEREAS, heretofore on October 1, 1957, Pioneer Natural Gas Company, succ--essor of West Texas Gas Company,. submitted an application to the govern- ing body of the City of Lubbock, proposing a schedule of rates to cover the sale £ natural gas and natural gas service by Pioneer Natural Gas Company to its 1'2-41CAr64',_..lr customers who use natural gas within the City Limits of the City of Lubbock, such application being here referred to and made a part hereof; and, WHEREAS, said application has been considered by the governing body of the City of Lubbock, and it is the opinion of the City Commission that the propo- sed schedule of rates for the sale of natural gas and natural gas service by Pioneer Natural Gas Company is just and reasonable and should be approved! NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION I. THAT Pioneer Natural Gas Company, its successors and assigns may make charges for the sale of natural gas and natural gas service to its cuslomers who use natural gas within the City of Lubbock as follows: Monthly rate: First 2, 000 cu. ft. or less per month $1.50 Next 8, 000 cu. ft. per month • 55 per M~ cu. ft. Next 40, 000 cu. ft. per month • 50 perM cu. ft. Next SO,. 000 cu. ft. per month .45 perM cu. ft. Next 200, 000 cu. ft. per month .35 perM cu. ft. Next 200, 000 cu. ft. per month .30perM cu. ft. All over 500, 000 cu. ft. per month • 25 perM cu. ft. Minimum Bill 1. 50 per month Payment: A delayed payment penalty of one-ninth {1/9) of the bill shall be allowed for non-payment of bills within ten days after date of billing.
