DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORf:.>INANCE, • WHIOHAREAS WERE ANNEXED TO THE CITY ON JUNE 13, 1957 BY ORDINANCE NO. 2194, IN ZONING DISTRICTS AS INDICATED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described area was not included in and made a part of the Official Zoning Map of the City of Lubbock on the effective date of Zoning Ordinance No. 1695 as originally enactedJ and, WHEREAS, the proposed changes in and supplements to the zoning districts as hereinafter made have been duly presented to the Zoning and Plan• ning Commission for its recommendation, which recomn1endation was received by the City Commission, and after due consideration, the City Commission finds that making the proposed changes and supplements as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, ' ·. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid sup;Ple- ment and amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with as well as giving all notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinanf e No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article 1011£, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, as amended in 1953, and notice was duly published in the Lubboc-k Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of public hearing before the City Commission on such notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public inter·est, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended and supple• mented in substantial compliance with the proposal, and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW 1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 as amended and the OUicial Zoning Map of the City of Lubbock BE and the same are hereby amended and included in the respective zoning districts of the City of Lubbock as hereinafter set forth, and so included and shown upon the Official Zoning Map of the City of Lubbock, as follows: ZONE CASE NO. 656 Place all the following described areas annexed to the City of Lubbock on June 13, 1957 by Ordinance No • .2194 in zoning districts as indicated: A. Place the following described property in the 11R-311 zoning dist-rict: BEGINNING at a point, said point being eight-hundred twenty- five (8.25) feet West and fifty {so) feet North of the Northeast corner of the Northwest one-fourth of Section 5, Block E•2., Lubbock County, Texasj THENCE South one-thousand three hundred seventy (1, 370) feet to a pointi THENCE West six-hundred sixty (660) feet to a point; TH.E;;NCE North one-thousand three_.hundred seventy (1, 370) feet to a point; THENCE East six .. hundred sixty (660) feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. B.
