WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finda it la nee•
essa.ry to appropriate certain specific funds ou.t of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the dally operation of City de•
partmenta in the public interest which creates an emeraency; NOW-. THERE•
FORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CrrY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the bllowing desc.rlbed boH fund,
to•wit:
Right of Way Bond Funds
Tht:. sum $4276.25
For the following purpose:
To purchase ~ 3.049 acres of land from Jack M. West and wife and Milton E.
West and wife (\'litt Addition) for right of way on the South Leg of l.Dop 289
at the rate of $1250 per acre amounting to $4261.25 phs $15.00 filing fees
making a total of $4276 .25 •
.. , WHEREAS. an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this T ordinance .. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (~) separate com•
mission meetings be dispensed with• and this ordinance ahall be effeC:•
tive from the date of its passage.
