WHEREAS, the Cit y Commission of the City of Lubbock finda lt ls nee•
es.sary to appropriate certain specific funda ou.t of bond (Qnds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinan~e deale with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which createa an emeraency; NOW, THER.E•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the bllowina described bond fund,
to-wit: Water Bond Funds
The. sum$. 4,950.00
For the following purpose: To construct a water line in Nashville from
50th Street to 56th Street.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public neces.aity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (l) separate -c.om•
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec-
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
