AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING AND AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE
NO. 1695 AS AMENDED AriD EXTENDING, SUPPLEMENTING AND AMEND-
ING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. SO THAT THE
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED AREA, WHICH WAS NOT CONTAINED OR INCLUDE
IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK UPON THE EF-
FECTIVE DATE OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 1695 AS ORIGINALLY ENACTED,
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ALL OF THE PERTINENT PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN
SAID ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1695 AS AMENDED, AND SHALL BE INCLUDED
AND CONTAINED IN Tl:IE OFFICIAL ZON.ING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
IN THE ZONING DSITRICT HEREINAFTER SET FORTH AS FOLLOWS: ZONE
CASE NO. 643-TO PlACE ALL THOSE AREAS PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED

ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK ON MAY 9, 1957, BY ORDINANCE NO.
2.169 IN ZONING DISTRICTS AS INDICATED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described area was. not included in and made a
part of the official Zoning Map of the City of Lubbock on the effective date of
Zoning Ordinance No. 1695, a,s originally enacted; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed changes in and supplement& to the zoning district
as hereinafter made have been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Com-
mission for its recommendation, which recommendation was received by the
City Commission, and after due consideration the City Commission finds that
making the proposed changes and supplements-as hereinafter set out will be in
the public interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid supplement
and amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with
as well as giving all notices in compliance with Seciion ZO of Ordinance No. 1695
as well as notices provided by Article 1011£,. Vernon~l:l Annotated Civil Statutes,
as amended in 1953, and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning
Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing
before the City Commission on such notice was duly held in the City Commission
Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons
appeared in support oi the proposal; and, after said hearing, it was by the City
Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed
conditions, that the Z.oning Ordinance and the Zoning .Map be amended and supple-
mented as hereafter set forth, and this Ordinance having been introduced in final
written form. prior to first reading hereofJ NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695, as amended and the Official Zoni
Map of the City of Lubbock BE and the sa:p1e are hereby amended and supplemented
so that the hereinafter described areas shall be placed and included in the :respec-
tive zoning districts of the City of Lubbock as hereinafter set forth and so included
and shown upon the Official Zoning Map of the City of Lubbock, as follows:

Place all the following described areas in zoning districts as indicated,
•wit: Those areas annexed to the City of Lubbock on May 9, 1957 by Ordinance
No. Zl69,. said areas being described by metes zd bounds as follows, to-wit:
1. Place the following described property in the "M-Z11 Zo.!ling District:
BEGINNJNG at a point, said point being one-thousand six and
seventy five hundredths (1, 006. 75) feet South of the Northeast
corner of the Southwest one-fourth of Survey 6, Block B,. Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE North to a point. said point being twenty-five {Z5}
feet South of the Northeast corner of the Southwest one-fourth
of said Survey 6,. Block B ~
THENCE East parallel to and twenty-five (Z5) feet South of the
North line of the South one-half of said Survey 6, Block B, for
a dis.tance of six hundred forty-two (642) feet to a pointJ
THENCE South to a point, said point being one-thousand six
and seventy five hundredths (1. 006. 75) feet South of the North
line of the South one-half of said Survey 6, .Block B;
THENCE West to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
2. Place the following described property in the 11M•l" Zoning District:
BEGINNING at a point,. said point being one-hundred fifty (150}
feet South of the Southeast corner of Survey 6, Block B, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE West to a point, said point being one hundred fifty (150)
feet South of the Southeast corner of the Southwest one-fourth
-of said Survey 6, Block B;
THENCE North to a point, said point being one-thousand six
and seventy five hundredths {1, 006. 75) feet Sauth of the Northeast
corner of the Southwest one-fourth of said Survey 6, Block B;
THENCE East six-hundred forty two (64Z) feet to a point;
THENCE North to a point. said point being b.\enty-five (25) feet
South of the North line of the South one-half of _said Survey 6,
Block B;
THENCE East parallel to and twenty-five (Z5) feet South of the
North line of the South one•half of said Survey 6J Block B, to a
point, said point being in the East line of said Survey 6, Bl9ck B;
THENCE South along the East line of said Survey 6, Block B,
to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

SECTION z. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this
Ordinance said Iota, tracts and, parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof
shall be placed in the Zoning district indicated, and shall be subject to all
pertinent provisions of the said Zoning OrdilUlnce No. 1695, as amended and
the Official Zoning Map is hereby amended and extended in accordance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
