WHEREAS. the City Cotnmission of the City o.f Lubbock linda lt is ne~·
essary to appropriate certain specific fund• out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deale with the dally operation of City de•
partmenta in the public interest which creates an emeraency; NOW • THERE•
FORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE £1TY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

to•wit: General Funds -GWO 2099
Th«;_ sum$ 2,045.00
For the following purpose:
Purchase 2.770 acres of land out of Section 17, Block A along Ursuline Street
just we·st of College Avenue from R. C. Burleson and A. R. Osborne, at the rate
of $500 an acre. Purchase price is $1,985.00 plus$10.00 filing and $50~00
abstract fees.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to thia
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance ia dedared to be an emer•
gency mea.sure thereby creating a public necea.aity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate com•
mis•ion meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec-
tive from the date of its passage.
