AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE -----n
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock linda it is nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific funda out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinan~e deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW • THERE•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the .bllowing deec.ribed bond fund,
to-wit:
Righ t-of-wa.v (General)
Tht: sum$ . 2,080.00
For the following purpose:
Purchase 4o07 acres out of Section 16, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas
on U~suline Avenue from Stanton Land Coo Inc . for right-of-w~,
Loop 289, $2035.00, purchase price, 845.00 abstract and filing fees.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate -com ..
mission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
