WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finda it ia nee•
esaary to appropriate certain specific fund• out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the dally operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emeraency; NOW,. THERE•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the bllowin& described bond fund.
to•wit:
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund
Th~. sum$ 1,200.00
For the following purpose:
To construct Sanitar,y Sewer Manhole and stubs
across Avenue U !'rom 50th to 54th Street
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
-:>rdinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) aeparate com•
mission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be effee•
tive from the date o£ its passage.
