WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock flnda lt le nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific fund• out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinan~e deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW .. THERE•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the bllowing described 'bond fund,
to-wit: ·
Water Bond Fund

For the following purpose:
To repair damage to well house
electric lines and supervisor control circuit in
ihallowater Field.-~aae cau•ed by recent tornado.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to tbia
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public nece.s.sity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (1) separate com•
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this o.rdinance ahall be effec-
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
