WHEREAS, the City Commisaion of the Ctty of Lubbock finda ii ia nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific fund• out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emeraency; NOW·• THERE•

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSJON OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to thla
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public neces.aity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) aeparate com-
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance aha.ll be effec-
tive from the date of its passage.
