ORDINANCE NO. 2 1S2 04--25-\ q ~:J AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1695 AND'-1'HE OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOW• lNG CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 6Zl -CHANGE LOTS 5 THROUGH 9 INCLUSIVE, BLOCK-r,HILT6N Al5'DITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS. FROM AN 11R-Z11 ZONING DISTRICT TO A 11C-Z11 ZONING DISTRICT. (VICINITY OF AVENUE Q AND 45th STREET) WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning district as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for· its recom- mendation, which was received by the City Commission and after due considera- tion, the City Commission finds that making the proposed change, as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving notices in compliance with Section ZO of Ordinance No. 1695, as well as notices provided by Arti::le 1011£, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1953 and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal! and, after said public hearing, it was by the City Commission deter• mined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map be a~nded in the manner hereinafter set w..t.-M-,.....,.,."1 forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION I. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 6Zl -Change Lots 5 through 9 inclusive, Block 1, Hilton Addit'lo"'ii"lo the ~ity of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an ''R-zu to a: 11G-Z11 Zoning District. {Vicinity of Avenue Q and 45th Street) SECTION z. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance. said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof, shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the Official Zoning Map is amended in accordance herewith.
