AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE ....;;~--~
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds it is nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the dally operatioD of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW,. THEkE•
FORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is her.eby appropriated out of the i>llowing desc.ribed bond fund.,
to-wit:
Water Bond Fund
Th~ sum$ 4,158.00
For the following purpose: Construction of (8) eight steel well houses in
League 206 $3,960 .00 plus $198.00 Engineering Fee

WHEREAS. an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure thereby creating a public: necessity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate com•
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
