WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock flnda it' ia nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW,. THERE•
FORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is her.eby appropriated out of the i>llowing described bond fund.
to•wit:
RIGHT-OF-WAY BOND FUND
Th~. sum$ 7,960.00
For the following purpose:
Purchase from Alvie Palmer and 'Wife, the South 61 teet
or Tract #6 Stubbs Subdivision for $7500.00 plus
$460.00 for Taxes, Abstract and Filing Fees
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown. in the preamble io this
ordinancev the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public neces.sity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate com•
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
