WHEREAS, the City Commission of the Cit:y of Lubbock linda it is nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds !or an ap•
proved project~ and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW·• THERE•
FORE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is her.eby appropriated out of the i:>llowing described 'bond fund,
to-wit: Ri.ght-of-'tl'ay Bond Fund
Th~ sum$ 2,255.00
For the following purpose: To purchase a tract of land in Block 5, Merritt and
''lild Addition from Mr. Lee Fields
To improve 5th Place and Avenue 11P11
WHEREAS, a.n emergency exists as shown in the preamble to thia
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency mea.sure thereby creating a public neces.aity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (Z) separate com•
mission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
