AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE -----u
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock linda lt is nee:•
essary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW• THERE•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
' There is hereby appropriated out of the .bllowing described bond fund,
to-wit:
RIGHT·OF-WAY BOND FUND
The sum $ 3,550.00
For the following purpose:
10 acquire the SOuth 50 ft, of Lot 9, Usleaman Addition
from Mu. R. B. Blaylock for $3,550.60 plus $5.00 filin1
fee.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance .. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure thereby creating a public: neces.sity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate com•
mission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
