WHEREAS, the City C01!Diiasion finds that the lands bereinaf'ter more

of Lubbock, hereinafter more particularl7 described by metes and bounds BE,
and the same are in all things .ABANOONED and CLOSED tor street purposes and
public tra~l and tor all other public purposes, auch portions of said
•Ash Avenue • being described as follows, to-witt
Tract 1:
Being a clistance ot lltS teet lforth of the Southwest corner ot
Section 5, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, and being a 10 foot
atrip ot land along the West lim of said Section 5, Block B and
the Wast side of the Wheelock's 2nd Addition to the City of Lub-
bock, Texas, tor the place of beginning a lt" iron pipe;
Thence North aloq the said West line ot Section 5, Block B, a
distance ot 735.2 feet to a 1• pipe set in South line of the
Fort Worth and De:rrter Cit7 Railway Company R.o.w. for the North-

directed to mark the official map of the City ot Lubbock indicating that this
portion of a street has been closed and abandoned, showing the number of this
ordinance and the date of its final passage.
