M. STRATTON SUBDIVI• SlON OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS. the City Commisaion finds that the North-South alley lying between Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), J. M. Stratton Subdivision in the City of Lubbock, is no longer needed for alley or any other public purposes; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it would be in the public ' Located interest to close and abandon the same to public travel; NOW • THEREFORE ~tn.Ave .H ~ Ave. D, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CGMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: ~.side 39ttl. ' SECTION 1. THAT the alley lying between Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), J. M. Stratton Subdivision to the City of Lubbock, hereinafter described by metes and bounds, BE and the same is hereby in all things abandoned and closed for alley purposes and public travel, such alley as closed being fur- ther described as follows, to-wit: Being a part and parcel of Lots 6 and 7, J. M. Stratton Subdivision f' to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNll'JG at a point 7. 5 feet East of the Southwest corner of Lot 6, J. M. Stratton Subdivision, said point being in the South line of said lot; THENCE North a distance of 135 feet to a point; THENCE West a distance of twenty-five (ZS) feet to a point; THENCE South 45° East a distance of 14. 14 feet to a point; THENCE South a distance of lZS feet to a point~ said point being on the South line of Lot 7; J. M. Stratton Subdivisionl THENCE East a distance of fifteen (15) feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION z. The City En:gine.er aball mark the official map of the City of Lubbock indicating that this alley has been closed and abandoned, showing the number of this ordinance and the date of its final passage. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
