ORDINANCE NO._ 1575
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A LOADING ZONE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE 2200 BLOCK
OF COLLEGE AVENUE BEGINNING FIFTY (50') FEET NORTH OF 23RD STREET AND EXTENDING
tlQRTH A DISTANCE OF. TWENTY (20') FEET; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
AUTHORIZING PAINTING OF CURBS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
W H E R E A s, in the interest of public safety, changed traffic conditions
business loading and unloading requirements make imperative immediate changes in

SECTION 1. That a freight-loading zone BE, and is hereby, established in
the following location:
A. On the :ast Side of the 2200 Block of College Avenue Beginning 50
Feet North of 23rd Street and Extending North a distance of 20 feet.
SECTION 2. That that part of any ordinance or order in conflict herewith
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That the Traffic Engineer is hereb,y authorized and directed
to cause the curbs in the above described zone to be painted and such zone plainly
marked as Loading Zone.
SECTION 4o Due to the changing traffic conditions creating a hazard
injurious to the public and the public's use of the streets, tne enactment of this
ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure, thereby creating a public
necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2)
separat e Commission m3etings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be
effective from the date of its passage, as provided by law.
SECTION 5. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to have
the descriptive caption of this ordinance published, as provided by law.
