AN ORDINAN:}E !1-iE:NDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 661 AND THC OFFICIAL ZONING
NAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: ZONING CASE NO. 475
CHANGE LOTS 3 and 4, BLOCK 1, 34TH STREET ADDITION ANNCX FROM THEIR PRESENT
ZONING TO THE "G n ZONING DISTRICT. (.34TH STREET AND AVENUE 11X")
W H E R ~ A S, the proposed change in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made
has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommenda ,
which recommendation was received by the City Commission, and, after due considera on
the City Commission finds that making the· proposed change as hereinafter set out
will be in the public interest; and,
W H E REA S, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Hcp have been fully complied with, as well as
giving all notices in compliance l-li th Section 25 of Ordinance No. 661, as amended,
as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes, as amended
in 195.3, and notice was duly published on May 9, 1954, in the Lubbock ~rning
Avalanche, and the public hearing, according to said notice was held at 2:00P.M.
on I1ay 27, 1954, in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall,
Lubbock, Texas, at which time perRons appeared in support of the proposa~; and,
after said hearing, it vas by the City Commission determined that it vould be in
the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the
Zoning Map be amended in substantial compliance with the proposal; T H E R E F 0 R ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. That Ordinanco No. 661 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and
the same are hereby, amended as follO\.rs, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 475 -Change the following described property from the
present zoning to the nan Zoning District:
Lots .3 and 4, Block 1, 34th Street Addition AnneXf an addition to the City
of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this
Ordinance said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 (One) hereof
shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated, and the Official Zoning !1ap
