AN ORDINANCE ABANOONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY
LOCATED IN BLOCK 75, LYONS ADDITION TO THE .CITY OF LUBOOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTf, TEXAS,
BEING M:>RE PARTICULARLY IESQRIBED BY ME:TES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
City Atty WHEREAs, the City Commission finds that the West 12.3 feet, Block ca ty Engr 75, Lyons Addition in the City of Lubbock is no longer needed for alley or any other

public purpose; and,
W H E R E A S, the City Commission finds that it would be in the public
interest to close and abandon same to public travel; T H E R E F 0 R E:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the West 12.3 feat, Block 75, Lyons Addition to the City of Lubboc
hereinafter described by metes and bounds be, and the same is hereby, in all things,
abandoned and closed for alley purposes, such alley as closed being further describe
as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 75, Lyons Addition,
an Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
Thence north parallel with the east line of Lots 11, 10, 9, S, 7, 6, 5,
4, 3 and 2, Block 75 of said Lyons Addition, to a point in the west ROW
line of Railroad Avenue;
Thence southeasterly parallel with the west BOW line of said Railroad
Avenue to a point 12.3 feet perpendicular to the east line of said Lots
2 through 11, Block 75, said Lyons Addition;
Thence south to a point in the north ROW line of East 31st Street;
Thence west 12.3 feet to the Point of Beginning.
