Mr.John Scott W H E R E A S, the City Conmission finds that the West 7.5 feet of

Engr South of 35th Street in the City of Lubbock is no longer needed for alley or any

W H E R E A S, the City Commission finds that it would be in the pub-
lic interest to close and abandon same to public travel reserving a five foot
permanent and perpetual utility easement therein; T H E R E F 0 R E,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. That the Wast 7.5 feet of the North 50 feet of the North-
South allay located just East of Avenue Q and South of 35th Street hereinafter
·described by metes and bounds be, and the same is hereby, in all things, abandoned
and closed for street purposes, such alley as closed being further described as
.follows, to-wit:
Being a part of Tract 10, Stubbs Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follow:
BEGIJmiNG at a point 105 feet 1rrest and 75 feet south of the northeast
corner of said Tract 10;
1~«8 south 50 feet to a point;
THENCE vest 7.5 feet to a point;
THENCE north 50 feet to a point;
THENCE east 7.5 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
This description is intended to cover the north 50 feet of that part
of alley dedicated by Victor n. Trussell and wife, Y~s. Victor (Thelma)
Trussell, to the public on July 17, 19511 ~corded in Volume 449, page
114, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas.
SECTION 2. Provided, hewever, a permanent and perpetual easement for
all utility purposes is hereby reserved in, on, under and over a part and portion
of the above described property whiah such easement heroin retained is more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The East five (5') feet of all that property included within the
description contained in Section 1 her~of which has been abandoned for
public travel by this ordinance.
