AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET-NAMING M-L\.P OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO THAT THE STREET NOW NAMED A VENUE :'L• 11 RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH BETWEEN 30TH STREET AND 35TH STREET, WILL BE NAMED AVENUE ."M'.'; AND THAT PART OF THE DEDI- CAT ED STREET ABUTTING-THE FORT WORTH 8t DENVER RAILROAD RIGHT•OF-WAY BETWEEN 30TH STREET AND 34TH STREET IN LINE WITH AVENUE "V' NORTH OF 30TH STREET SHALL BE NAMED AVENUE "L.11 W H E R E AS , the streets set out in the body of this Ordinance need re-naming in order to conform to the existing sequence of street-naming method established by Ordinance No. 9Z4; N 0 W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMtsSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That the official street-naming map of the City of Lubbock as established by Section 8 (Eight) of Ordinance No. 924 be amended and changed so that hereafter that portion of street now named Avenue 111,., 11 run- ning North and South between 30th Street and 35th Street will be named Avenue "M. ,, . SECTION z. That the official street-naming map of the City of Lubbock be amended and changed so that hereafter that part of the dedicated street abut- ting the Fort Worth 8t Denver Railroad right-of-way between 30th and 34th Streets P1llne with Avenue "L'! north-of 30th Street shall be named Avenue "L.' SECTION 3. The City Engineer is directed to make the necessary changes required by this Ordinance on the City's official street-naming map. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
