Thereupon, the Mayor announced that the ordinance had been finally passed anci adopted
by unanimous vote of the COJllllission, in accordance with the require•nta of Sectioml5,
16 am 17, of Article IX of the Lubbock Charter; and the Mayor thereupon si&ned and approved
the ordinance in the presence of the Commission. l

"AN <RDINANC& by the City Co!Miission ot the City o! Lubbock, Texas, authorizing the
issuance of bonds in the principal su.m or $100,000 (being the third and finAl parcel or
installment of a total voted authorization of $5001000 borda), for th~ purpose of
erecting, c0{18tructing1 equipping end maintaining a public library building in the City
of Lubbock; prescribing the form of the ba'lds and the form of' :interest coupons; levying a
eootinuing direct annual ad valorem tax on all taxable property within the limits of aaid
City to pay the interest on said bards ard to create a sinking tund tor the redemption
