AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1052, PASSED ON FINAL REIDlNG
JANUARY 11, 19~1, ENTITLED •AN ORDINANCE REGULATING USE OF THE STREETS BY
AMBULANCE OPERATORS IN RESPONDING '1'0 EMERGENCY CALLS; PROVIDING FOR AN Elot:RGENCI
DISPATCHER AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS; AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO DESIGNATE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Cl'I'Y CO*ISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. mAT Ordinance No. 10521 passed on final reading Jan1.1a.17 11,
1951, entitlea "An Ordinance regUlating use of the streets by 8Jilbul.ance operators
in respOllding to emergeno;r calls; providing for an emargen07 dispatcher at Polioa
Headquarters; autboriz!ng the Ohie.t of Police to designate said dispatcher; making
it unlavf'ul to respond to Eriuergency calls except as directed by the ambulance
dispatcher; defining certa.iD terms; establlshiDg a method of directing emergenc;v
ambulance aervioe; providing disposition of unclaimed dead bodies; providiDg a ·
penalty, a savings clause and declaring an emergena:r,• Shall be, and the 88JIIe is
in all things hereby' repealed.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary is hereby directed to note upon
the margin of Ordinance No. 1052 aDd upon the Ordinance Book that it bas been
repealed by' this Ordinance.
