ERECTION OF SIGNSJ PROVIDING A PENALTY; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION; AND IECLARING AN EltERGENCY.
WHEREAS, in the interest of public safety, changed traffic conditions
creating a public hazard require No-Parking areas be established on the above
described streets; THEREFOBE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LlJBBOCl{:
SECTION 1. That No-Parking Zones IE, and are hereby established on the
following described portions of streets, and it shall hereafter be unlavfu.l for
any person operating, driving or in control of a vehicle to allow, permit or
suffer such vehicle to be parked in the portions of streets hereinafter described

SECTION 2. That those portions of streets referred to in Section 1 (One)
of this Ordinance as No-Parking' Zones are as follows;

On both sides of .34th Street, beginniDg at a point .350 feet
east of Avenue H and extending west .350 feet to Avenue H.
On the north side of .34th Street, beginni!lg at a point .350
feet west of Aveme H and extending east 350 feet to Avenue H.
On both sides of Avenue H, beginning at a point .350 feet north
of .34th Street and extending south .350 feet to .34th Street.
On the east side of Aveme H, beginning at a point 350 feat
south of .34th Street and extending north .350 feet to .34th Street.
On both sides of AvellUS Q, beginning at a point .350 feet north
of .34th Street ani extending south .350 feet to 34th Street;.
On the west side of AVenue Q, beginning at a point .350 feet
south of 34th Street and extending north .350 feet to .34th Street.
On both sides of .34th Street, begin.ni.Dg at a point 350 feet
west of Avenue Q and extending east 350 feet to Avenue Q.
H. On the north side of .34th Street from Avenue Q east .350 teeto
SECTION 3. That the Traffic Engineer is .authorized and directed to paint,
or causa to be painted, the curbs and to erect sigm indicating Bo-Parlcing Zones
consistent ~ith the provisions or this ordinance.

SECTION 4. That atJT person who shall suffer or permit any vehicle
operated, driven or controlled by him to be parked in the areas described in
Section 2 (Two) of this Ordins:nce shall~ upon conviction, be fined in an,y sum
not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200}.
SECTION 5. That all portions of other ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this Ordinance are hereb,y repealed.
SECTION 6. That the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause
publication of the descriptive caption of this Ordinance, together with the
penalty clause, as an alternative method provided by law.
SECTION 7. That the enactment of this Ordinance, being necessary to the
public safety and to provide for a greater use of the public streets, and due to
the changed traffic conditions is declared to be an emergency measure thereby
creating a public necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinances to be
presented at two (2) separate meetings be dispensed with, and this Ordinance shall
be effective from the date of publication as herein provided.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
