PAYMENT OF SUCH TAXES WITHIN THE TIME PROVIDED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK; r, ~ · ~ECTION 1. That there shall be levied and assessed upon all property subjed to taxation within the City of Lubbock, Texas, for the year 1953 the sum of $1.50 per One Hundred {$100) Dollars' valuation thereof, and the same shall be applied to the various funds in the following manner: $0.63 per $100 valuation .. to the Interest and Sinking Fund .82 per $100 valuation-to the General Fund • 05 per $100 valuation-to the Board of City Development Fund $1.50 SECTION z. That all ad valorum taxes shall be paid before the first day of February, 1954, and taxes not paid by that time shall have added to said taxes such penalty and interest as provided in Ordinance No. 1329. SECTION 3.. That there is levied upon all occupations taxable, one-half {1/Z) the sum charged by the State of Texas for pursuing such occupation. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
