WHEREAS, due 'to changed condi tiona and grovth and development or the City of Lubbock , it bas been determined that it would ba in the public interest to change that area included within Fire Zone lo. 2, as provided in Section One (1) of Ordinance No. 10.36 8.nd. Ordinance No. 1219; and lffiEREAS, this Ordinance 1a an emrgency measure for the immediate preservation of public property and aaf'ety and to provide for greater fire protec- tion; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Cl'l'Y COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOOK: SECTION 1. That all existing ordinances in conflict vith the prorlsions of tbia Ordinance are bereey modified consistent vith the provisions of this Ordinance, provided nothing herein sball be construed as repealing Ordinanoe lfo. 1036, Ol'dinanee No. 1219, or &IJ7 other Ordinance, except as herein expressly pro- vided.
