AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A LOADING ZONE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE 1200

.. WHEREAS, in the interest of public safety, changed traffic conditions, ·7 v business loa.ding and unloading requirements making imperative immediate changes 6, IJ.u in the establishment or freight loading zones; NOW, THEREFORE,

SECTION:.l. That a freight loading zone BE, and is hereby' established
in the following locations
On the South side of the 1200 Block or 13th Street,
beginning at a point 44 feet Wes"tt ot Avenue K and
extending West a distance ot 20 teet.
SEOfiON 2. That part of 8.IIY Ordinance or Order in conflict herewith
is hereby' repealed.
SIOOTION J• That the Traff'ic Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the curbs in the above described zone to be painted and such
zone plainly marked as a loadiDg zone.
SEOTION 4. Due to the changing traffic conditions creating a hazard
injurious to the public and the publicts use of the streets, the enactment ot this
Ordinance is declared to be an emrgency measure, thereby creating a public
necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2)
separate Collllli&sion meetings be dispensed witht and this Ordinance shall be
effective £rom the date or its passage as provided by lav.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
