J-11-21 AND "'-~ ,f 1 13-11-7; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. ,_,d., v J}J ~-t(}J_,.., WHE-REAS, the City Commission has passed an ordinance establishing a ~~ Parking Meter Zone and authorizing the placing of meters in that area and it is r· ' . ~ . .JI"' now necessary to remove said parking neters to provide a greater use of the public ~ '~t'lf. \ streets; NOW, THEREFORE, 1 ~-BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: ~-l~( l:J V" "' /:.1 ~/b.!) SECTION 1. That the Traffic Engineer BE, and he is hereb,y authorized to cause due removal of Parking JvEters Nos. J-11-21 and 13-11-7. SECTION 2. ·That the Parking Meters authorized to be removed by provisions of Section 1 (One} of this ordinance, after all moneys contained in the meters have been duly checked and accounted for, shall reconditioned and renumbered for use at other locations. SECTION 3. That part of the provisions of any ordinance or order in conflict with this ordinance is hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Due to the changing traffic conditions creating a hazard injurious to the public and the public1s use of the streets the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure, th~reby creating a publi~ necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinance~jbe presented at two (2) separate meetings be ~ispensed with and this ordinance shall be effective from the date of its passage as provided by law. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
