OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUB.BOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE
FOLLOWING CHANGE: (1) ZONING CASE NO. 432. -CHANGE LOTS 11 AND
12.t BLOCK 3, COLLEGE HEIGHTS ADDITION, FROM THE "A" TO THE 11B 11
ZONING DISTRICT (SALEM AVENUE AND 35TH STREET).
WHEREAS, the proposed change in Zoning Districts as hereinafter
made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its
recommendation, which recommendation was received by the City Commis-
sion, and, after due consideration, the City Commission finds that making the
proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and,
WHEREAS , all notices have been given in compliance with Section 2.5
of Ordinance No. 661, as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Revised
Civil Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on May 2.4, 2.5, and
2.6, 1953 in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche, and the public hearing, according
to said notice,was held at 2.:00 P.M. on June 11, 1953 in the City Commission
Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time per-
sons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing, it was by
the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to
changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended
in substantial compliance with the proposal1 THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
{1) Zoning Case /#43~ -Change Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12.),
Block Three {3 ), College Heights Addition, fr.om the 11A 11 to
the "B" Zoning District (Salem Avenue and 35th Street).
From and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said tracts
above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated, and the
Official Zoning Map is hereby amended in.accordance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
