WERE.AS, public necessity, convenience and safety require the establieh-ment of mechanical traffic control lights at the hereinafter D8Jiled intersections and crossings because of the increased number of vehicles entering the said intersections and crossings and because of the traffic hazard at said intersections and crossings; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOOK~ SECTION 1. Section 1 (One) of Ordinance No. 11.48 is hereby amended to add and include the follOW'ing street intersections and other locations: Avenue A and 19th Street Averme H and 19th Street East Broadway and 19th Street Idalou Road and Fourth Street SECTION 2. Due to the fact that there is no crdinance authorizing mechanical traffic control lights at the above named intersections and crossings, and that the ilmnediate erection of said mechanical traffic control lights is required to. control traffic at said intersections and crossings, creates an eJD:)rgeney, and that all rules be suspended and that this ordinance become effective from and after its passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
