' WHEREAS, in the interes'!io or public safety, changed traffic conditions, business loading and unloading requirements makillg imperative immediate changes in the establishment of freight loading zones; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY Cm1MISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SEO'l'ION 1. That Freight Loading Zones be, and are hereby established at the following locations: \ I K J ~v.-'1r ~ J > •t ,:o.,r~ e., I A. On the North side of the 800 Block of 16th Street, ""-~;~'.;:~; ~~ beginning at a point ~ feet East of A1renue H and 1 -- extending East a distance of 24 feet. nee atK. ~ B. On the East side of Avenue L, beginning at a point .35 f'eet South of Main Street and extending South a dis~ce or 20 feet. SECTION 2. That part of any ordinance or order in conflict herewith is hereby repealed. ~TION .3. That the ifraffic Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to cause the c·llrbs in the above described zones to be painted and such zones plainly marked as loading zones. SECTION 4. Due to the changing traffic conditions creating a hazard injurious to the public and the publicf·s use or the streets, the enactment of this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinanos to be presented at two {2) separate meetings be dispensed with and this Ordinance shall be effective from the date or its passage as provided by la.v.
