AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
TO EXOOUTE AN EXCHANGE DEED WITH BRYANT RADIO & TELEVISION, INC. FOR WELL SITES
lN THE EAST ONE-HALF (E 1/2) OF SECTION TWO (2), BLCCK 11E11 IN LUBBOCK COUNTY,
TEKAS, CONVEYING CITY WELL SITE NO. 2 IN CONSIDERATION OF AND IN EXCHANGE FOR
"PROPOSED CITY WELL $'il'J:.E [l'Q. 82. '
WHEREAS, Bryant Radio & Television, Inc. has purchased property with
the intention of placing thereon a radio and television station and such proposed
station is in close proximity to a proposed well site owned ~ the City of Lubbocx,
·and the Bryant Radio & Television, Inc. has requested that City exchange such
well site for another well site, both included in the east one-half (E t) of SeQ
tion Two (2), Block "E" in Lubbock County, Texas, and it is found in the pUblic
interest, due to changed conditions, that such exchange deed be executed; THEREFORE
BE rr ORDA1NED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be 1 and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute an exchange deed with Br,rant Radio & Television, Inc.,
exch~ging what is known as City Well Site No. 2 for proposed Well Site No. 82
and easement leading thereto, both being included in the east one-half (E t) of
Section Two (2), Block "E" in Lubbock County, Texas.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
