WHEREAS, the proposed changes in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made have been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recom·· mendation, which recommendation was received by the City Commission, and, after due consideration, the City Commission finds that niaking the proposed changes as hereinafter set out will be in the public interesti and, WHEREAS, all notices have been given in compliance with Section 25 of Ordinance 661, as well as notices provided by Article 1011£, Revised Civil A () (. Palle 2 Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on May 26, 27, and 28, 1952 in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche, and the public hearing, according to said notice, was held at 2:30P.M. on June 12, 1952 in the Oity Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time per-sons appeared in support of the proposals and, after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in substantial compliance with the proposals; THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 661 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: (1) Zoning Case f356 -Change a tract of land out of Section 2, Block E, de·scribed as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section Two (2), Block E1 Thence West along the north section line 638. 89 feet; Thence South 0°01' west 30'2. 82 feet; Thence North 75°23' west 590. 74 feet; Thence North-easterly along the west line of Avenue A 455 feet to the north line of Section 2, Block E~ Thence East along said section line twenty-six (26) feet to the Place of Beginning, from an 11A11 District to an "Ftt District (located at the southwest corner of Avenue A and 50th Street). (2) Zoning Case 1357 -Change the following tracts of land out of Section Two (2); Block E, described as follows: Tract 1: Beginning at a point on the east line of Avenue H, 3341.53 feet south of the north line of Section Two (2), Block E~ Thence South 0°02' West.546. 02 feet; Thence East to the west line of Avenue A; Thence Northeasterly along the westerly line of Avenue A, 555.41 feet; Thence North 71°101 West 460.82 feet to the Place of Beginning (located at the intersection of Avenue A and Avenue H), from an 11A11 District to an uF" District. Tract 2: Block 10, Circle View Addition {located at southwest corner of Traffic Circle), .from an 11A11 District to an 11F11 District. Tract 3; Beginning at a point on the east line of Avenue H, 750 feet north of the south line of S~ction Two (2), Block Ei Thence East 150 feet to the city limits; Thence North and Northeasterly and parallel at 150 feet to the east line of the Circle and Avenue A, which is the • , ... Tract 4: Beginning at a point on the west line of Ayenue Q, which is 410 feet west and 1460 feet north of the southeast corner of the southwest one-quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Two (2), Block Ei Thence South 390 feet to the north line of the Wolffarth Road~ Thence easterly along the north line of W oUfarth Road to the west line of the Circle; Thence following the west line of the Circle and the southwesterly line of Avenue Q to the place of beginning, from ari'A11 District to an 11F11 District. Tract 5: Circle View Addition No. Z, from a "Gtt District to an "F11 District. From and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said tracts above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning Districts indicated and the Official Zoning Map is hereby amended in accordance herewith.
