WHEREAS, In the course ot street development and changes made and to be ma.de in the Cooke-carpenter Addition, the City Commission finds that a part '1 ot 28th (Twenty-Eighth) Street 111128 North of Block Five (S), Cooke-carpenter Addition to the Cit7 or Lubbock 1s not needed tor street or any other public purpose and is not now being used for an;y suoh purpose, and it would be in the public interest if the same be. abandoned and closed, THEREFORE, -~· BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CI'l'Y OF LUBBOCKa ',, -. -., ~ SECfiON 1.
