That Section One (1) of !''ire Zone Ol~dinance No. 1036 is hereby amended so as to set forth therein a corrected description of the area contained within Fire Zone No. 1, said Section shall read as follows: 11SECTIOH 1. FIRE ZONE NO. 3: Shall be and hereby is declared to include all of the area within the City Limits of the City of Lubbock, except only that area rthich is hereby described to be Fire 'Zones Numbers One (l),and Two (2). SECTION 2. The Building Inspector is directed to make such changes on the Fire Zone maps maintained in his office so as to correctly reflect the changes set forth in this Amendment. -2- 5 SECTION J. That all existing ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby modified consistent with the provisions of this ordinance, provided nothing herein shall be construed as repealing Ordinance No. lOJ6 or any other ordinance, except as herein expressly provided. SECTION 4. That the Amendment of this Ordinru1ce, being necessary to the public safety and to provide for ~reater fire protection, is declared to be an emergency measure, thereby creating a public necessity that it take effect at once and it is accordingly ol·dered that this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage as provided by the Ch~rter of the City of Lubbock for the passage of emergency measures.
