rr.qffiREAS, in the interest of publ ic safety, changed traffic conditions
and business loading and unloading requirements make imperative immediate change
in the establishment of freight loading zones, TH;EREFORE,
BE IT ORDAIIIED BY THE CITY COI'.!l'.iiSSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. That freight loading zones be and the same are hereby
established at the following locations. .\,
A. Beginning at the Horth alley line on the \!est side of the
Twelve Hundred (1200) Block of Avenue F and running !forth
a distance of Forty feet (40').
B. Beginning at a point Sixty feet (60•) North of the North
line of Sixteenth (16th) Street on the East side of the
Fifteen Hundred (1500) Block of Avenue H and running North
a distance of Forty feet (40•) and in front of 1513 Avenue H.
SECTION 2. That part of any ordinance or resolution in conflict
herewith is hereby ~epealed.
SECTION 3. Authorit;r is granted the officer in charge of traffic
matters and he is directed to paint the curb along the area hereinabove describe
and to place such uniform signs as may be provided.
SECTION !:,.. The yrovisions of this Ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passaGe due to the emergency created by the need .for this
loading zone.
