AN ORDINANCE AME.NDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 661 AND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING IN ZONING CASE NO. 338, WHICH IS AN AREA BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY YANDA AVENUE AND Tl;IE CITY LIMITS, ON THE NORTH BY EAST BROADWAY, ON THE SOUTH BY 19TH STREET, AND ON THE WEST BY AVENUE "A": AND ALSO TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: ZONING CASE 1348 -CHANGE TRACT 3 OUT OF SECTION 80, BLOCK "A", ABSTRAC 995, BOUNDED BY AVENUE H ON THE EAST, THE. PANHANDLE &t SANTA FE RAILROAD ON THE NORTHWEST~ AND ON THE SOUTH BY THE SOUTH SECTION LINE OF SECTION 80, BLOCK "A" FROM AN 11A 11 DISTRICT TO A "J" DISTRICT; ZONING CASE #361 -CHANGE LOTS 1, 2., 3, 4, AND 5 OF BLOCK 1, LEVERETT ADDITION, FROM AN 11A 11 DISTRICT TO AN 11 H11 DISTRICT (LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 38TH STREET AND 'J A VENUE H). WHEREAS, the proposed changes in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made have been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recom- m endation, which recommendation was received by the City Commission, and, a fter due consideration, the City Commission unanimously finds that making t h e p rop osed changes as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest, and, WHEREAS, all notices have been given in compliance with Section 25 of Ordinance No. 661, as well as notices provided by Article lOll£, Revised Civil Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on March 11, 12., and 13, 1952, in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche, and the public hearing, according to said notice, was held at 2:00 P.M. on March 211 1952, in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposals and, after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in substantial compliance with the proposals, THEREFORE,. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMlSSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 661 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same are hereby amended as follows~ to-wit: (1) Zoning Case 338: )..
