ORDINANCE NO. 1175
AN ORDINANCE CONTINUING AND DEFERRING ALL MATTERS
PREVIOUSLY SET TO BE HEARD AND CONSIDERED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION ON JANUARY Z4 SO THAT THE SAME SHALL BE HEARD AND
CONSIDERED ON TUESDAY, JANUARY Z9, AT 1:30 P.M. lAND DECLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it has 'been determined by the City Commission in a
special meeting this 16th day of January, 195Z, that a quorum of the City
Commission will not be available for its regular meeting on January 24,
and declaring an emergency, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT all matters, including the opening of bids, public hearings,
and other matters previously set for the regular meeting of the City Com-
mission on the 24th of January, are hereby continued and deferred until
January 29 at 1:30 P.M. for consideration and disposition.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
On motion of Cornrnissioner Morris , seconded by ---------------------
Commissioner Davis , the foregoing Ordinance was approved ----------------------
and passed this 16th day of January, 1952, by the City Commission, with
the following Commissioners voting "YEA": l1orris, Davis, Thomas and
Hayor 1~hi teside
and the following Commissioners voting "NAY": None
