WHEREAS, the proposed change in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for Je ... 6 ... ~ C·?~s: ... P. ld ( l-its recommendation, which recom.m.endation was received by the City Com-~ . 1/. c J, 1 mission and, after due consideration, the City Commission unanimously u-4 f/ttuu / "! finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the '1/ public interest, and, {./ -t.TE1r~ ~· '· ~· WHEREAS, all notices have been given in ~ompliance with Section 25 of Ordinance No., 661, as well as notices provided by Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on August 28, 29, and 30, 1951, and the public hearing, according to said notice, was held at 2:00P.M. on September 14, 1951, in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas. at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal and, after said hearing, it was by the City Commis- sion determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed con· ditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in substan- tial co.mpliance with the proposal, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 661 and the Official Zoning Map BE, and the same is hereby amended as follows, to-wit: (1) Change Blocks Five (5) and Six (6) and the North one-half (N 1/2) of Block Four (4), Riceland Addition from an ."A" District to a "Gtt District. From and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said lots and tracts above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the Official Zoning Map is hereby amended in accordance herewith.
