AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 661 AND THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE
FOLLOWING C'HANGES: (Z) CHANGE SOUTH ONE-HALF {S 1/Z) OF BLOCK
10 and NORTH 143. 21 FEET OF BLOCK 11• WHITEHEAD 2ND ADDITION FROM
AN i'A11 DISTRICT TO AN "H" DISTRICT; {3) CHANGE LOTS 1 AND Z, BLOCK
12~ MAYFIELD SUBDIVISION OF ROBERTS AND. McWHORTER ADDITION FROM
' A "C" DISTRICT TO AN "F" DISTRICT; {5) CHANGE LOTS 5 THROUGH 16,

DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the proposed changes in Zoning Districts as hereinafter made ~ have been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recom-
. · mendation, which recommendation was received by the City Commission and, /off . after due consideration, the City Commission unanimously finds that making the + , proposed changes as hereina~~er set out will be in the public interest, and,

y: Statutes, as amended, and notice was duly published on March 6, 7, and 8, ~ 1951, and the public hearing, according to said notice, was held at 2:00 P.M. on
F March zz, 1951, in the City Commission Room on the first {11oor of the CU:y
Hall, Lubbock, Texas1 at which time p~rsons appeared in support of the proposal
and, after said rearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would
be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, 1hat the Zoning Ordinance
and the Zoning Map be amended in substantial compliance with the proposal,
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION I. THAT Ordinance No. 661 and the Official Zoning Map be,
and the same is, hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
(Z) Change South one-half (S 1/Z) of Block 10 and North 143. Zl feet of
Block U, Whitehead Znd Addition from an "A11 District to an 11H11 District.
(3) Change Lots 1 and Z, Block 12, Mayfield Subdivision of Roberts and
McWhorter Addition from a 11C 11 District to an "F11 District. ·
(5) Change Lots 5 through 16, Block 1, Wood-Petersen Annex from an ttAu
District to a 11J 11 District.
(6) Change Lots 1, z, and 4, Block 1_. Wood-Petersen Annex from an "A11
District to a "G" District.
(7) Change Lots 6 through 14, Block 71 Flynn Place Subdivision from a
11G 11 D~strict to a "J" District.
(8) Change Lot 2, Block 11, Roles Acres Addition from an 11A 11 District
to a 11J 11 District.
(9) Change Lots 1 and 2, Block 71 of Overton Addition from a 11 B 11 Dis-
trict to a 11C 11 District.
From and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance, said lots
and tracts above referred to shall be changed to the Zoning Districts,indicated
and the Official Zoning Map is hereby amended in accordance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
Passed and approved this, the 22d day of March, 1951, on first reading.
Passed and approved this 12t)\iay of April., 1951, on second reading.
