mission that the lots aDd addi tiollS described in the caption ot this Ordill8.Dee be
placed in districts hereinafter set out and upon coasiderat1on of such reco .. eDda-
tion a!ld in compliance with Section 25 ot OrdiDance No. 661, the City Coaission
oaused due and legal notice of such recommeDdation to be given, teðer with
written notices ae provided by Article lOllt, Revlaed Civil statutes ot Texas, aa

t<:O IHEREJ.S, such notice was published on October 18, October 19, and October 20,
f l949, and the public hearing, according to said notice, was held at 2&.30 o'clock
P.M., Nove11ber 10, 1949, in the City Commission room on the second noor ot the
City Hall in Lubbock, Texas, at which time interested persona appeared in support
of the recommendation and after said hearing, it wae b,y the City Commission deter·
mined that it would be to the beat public interest that the Zonillg Ordinance be
amended in substantial cm~pliance with the recolllll8ndations of the Zoning alld Plan-
!.-ning Co..U.eeion, TH!REFORE:
BE IT ORDJ.INED BY THE CITY COIIMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: ~~L-~\
