WHEREAS, persons owrd.Dg dogs are required to have the same vaccinated by veterinarians and to secure licenses tor such doge, and it is considered that appointing veterinarians as hereinafter stated as deputy tax collectors tor the issuance ot dog licenses ~, will be a conv-enience to dog owners b.Y permi ttirag them to secure vaccinations and dog licenses at the same location, THEREFORE, BB IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CIT! OF LUBBOCKa SECTION 1. That the Tax Collector ot the 01 ty ot Lu.bbook, BB, and he is hereby' authorized to appoint Dr. N. ·A. Cox and Dr. ·•• T. Rogers, veteriDarians, as Deput7 Tax Collectors tor the limited purpose ot issuing Cit7 ot Lubbock Dog Licenses, at their respective animal hospitals, UDder the supervision and direction ot the Tax Collector. SECTION 2. The appointments here authorized shall be gratuitous and all licenses issued by the appointees shall be on numbered fol'llls and tags furnished by the Tax Collector, aubj ect to all ordinances and other rules aDd regulations exist• iag or hereafter to be passed relating to the issuance ot such licenses. SECTION 3. Each appointee shall account to the Tax Colleoto.r periodically tor all licenses issued and make remittances to the Tax Colleotor tor tees collect• ed, at the times designated qy the Tax Collector.
