WHER.E:\8, •the Zoning and Planning Commission has recommended to the City Commis-
sion tbat the lots described in the caption of this ordinance be placed in the
distri~ts hereinafter setout and upon consideration of such recommendation and in
compliance with Section .25 of Ordinance 661, the City Commission caused due and le-
gal nqtice of such recommendations to be given, and,

~f~~, such notice wa& published on May 27, May 28 and May 29, 1947, and the
public hearing, according to said notice was held at 2:30 o'clock P.M., June 12,
1947·, ip. the City Commission room on the second floor of the City Hall in Lubbock,
Texas, at which time interested persons appeared in support of the recommendations
and after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be
to the best public interest that the Zoning Ordinance be amended in substantial
compliance with the recommendations of the Zoning and Planning-Commission.
THeREFORE, BE IT {l{DAI NED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF Lll3BOOK:
THAT Ordinance No. 661 8nd the official zoning map is hereby amended as foll~1s
to-wit:
Section (1). Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 10, Richmond 2nd Addition to the City
of Lubbock are hereby taken out of an 11E11 District and :Placed in an 11F" District.
Section (2). Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 1, lr.heelock Addition to the City of
Lubbock are hereby talten out of an 11F" District and placed in a 11J 11 . District.
And from and after the passage and effective date of thi s ordinance said lots
are and shall be a part of the district§a~ setout in the foregoing sections of
this ordinance and the official zoning map is hereby amended in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
AND TT JS SO ORDERED:
Passed and approved first reading by unanimous consent of the City Commission
this 19th day of June , 1947.
Passed and approved second reading by unanimous consent of the City Commission
this ?6th day of June , 1947.
