RIGHT-OF-WAY BET\'iEE N THE CENTER LINE OF THE MAIN TRACK OF f THE FORT WORTH AND
DE~"VER RAILROAD AND THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF THE FORT WORTH AND DENVER RAIL-
ROAD, IN A t~ 111 11 DIS1RICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zo~ng Commission has recommended to the City Com-
mission that the blocks and tracts of land described in the caption of this or-
dinance be placed in the districts therein enumerated and as hereinafter set
forth, and the City Commission has caused notice of hearing on said recommenda-
tion to be published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche on January 15, 23 and 29,
1946, ~~d whereas, said notice was so published and the public hearing accord-
ing thereto was held in the City Commission Room on the second floor of the
City Hall in the City of Lubbock, at 2:30 o'clock P.M., F'ebruary 14, 1946, at
which time interested persons appeared at said hearing, and after which the Ci-
ty Commission determined that it would be to the best public interest that Or-
dinance No. 661 be amended in substantial co~pliance with the stated recommen-
dation, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION G' THE CITY OF LUBBOOK:
That Ordinance No. 661 be amended as follows:
Section 1. That Blocks 201, 202, 217, 218, 233 and 234 of the Original Town
of Lubbock be changed from an "L• District and placed in a 11 K" D:!s trict.
Section 2. That that part of Blocks 67, 68 and 69 of Wheelock's Second Addi-
tion, located North of ·the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad, be placed in an 11E11
District.
Section 3. That that portion of Block 66, North of the Fort Worth and Den-
ver hailroad in •neelock 1 s Second ~dition, and the railroad right-of-way be-
tween the center line of the main track of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad
and the South property line of the lt,ort Y1 orth and Denver Railroad, be zoned in
an 111 11 District,
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
