Gentlemen:
ADDRESS RI!PL Y TO
Lubbock, Texas
January 23, 1946
All lots in Block 8, Richmond Second Addition to the City of
Lubbock are owned by Mrs. Roscoe Wilson, John Dalrymple and
Homer D. Grant. Said property is under contract to sell to a
new industry, subject to our obtaining an official c:ibesing and
deed to alley and that small portion of Avenue N on east side
of property.
The Santa Fe Railway has filed a letter with your body setting
forth their acquiescence to closing of alley and street.
An inspection of property would obviously show that no utilities
are in the area and therefore no serious inconvenience would be
encountered by the city or any other utility.
It consistent with your policy on applications of this character,
we respectfully request the necessary proceedings be initiated
towards conveyance of your interest in said alley and a portion
of Avenue 11 N" adjacent to property.
Respectfully,
WilSON -DALRYMPLE AND GRANT
