(.t' 0 0 . \l -2 3 -l9-3t AN ORDIN~~CE CR~\TING AND ESTABLISHING THE CITY LIMI~ OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: .._-"'~-~···"' ~ ~·1::,:2..<6 FIRE ZONES WITHIN u~HEREAS, Section 1601 of Chapter 16 of Part IV. of Ordinance _) No. 587, known as the building code of the City of Lubbock provides 1 that the City 66mmission shall pass an Ordinance creating.and establish-ing fire zones. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: That there is hereby created within the city limits of the City of Lubbock, Texas, three fire zones to be known as Zones Nos. 1, 2 and 3, the areas of said zones being bounded as follows: ZONE NO. 1. BEGINNING at the intersection of the Main Line P & S.F. Ry. Co. with the North line of Original Town Addition to the City of Lubbock, said North line being the north line 0f ~urvey 1, Block o, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE West to the intersection of the projection of the Center Line of Ave. J from the south; THENC~ south to the center line of 9th Street; THENCE West to the center line of Ave. K; THENCE south to the center line of-lOth St.; THENCE west to the center line of Ave. M; THENCE south to the center line of 14th St.; then THENCE east to the center line of Ave. J; THENCE south to the center line of 16th St; THENCE east to the center line of Ave. G; THENCE North to the center line of 14th St.; THENCE east to the center line of Ave. E; I

THENCE East to the center line of the North & South alley between Texas Ave. & Ave. J; THENCE south to the center line of 19th St; ~HENCE East to the projection of the center line of the north & south alley between Texas & Ave. J, as extended from the south; THENCE south along the center line of the alley between Texas Ave & Ave J, to 26th St.; 2 THENCE south across tract Two of the Harkey Addition, to the north right of way line of the Ft. Worth & Denver Railroad; THENCE Northeasterly along said right of way line to its intersection with the center line of Ave G; TH~~CE North along the center line of Ave. G, to the center line of 16th St.; THENCE East to the center Line of Ave. F; THENCE North to the center line of 15th St; THENCE East to the center line of Ave D,; THENCE North to the center line of 14th St; THENCE East to the center line of the main tract of the P & S F Ry; THENCE Northwesterly along the center line of the main tract of the P & S F Ry. to its intersection with the projection of the center line of 13th St; THENCE west along the center line of 13th St; to the center line of Ave. E; THENCE south to the center line of 14th St; THENCE West to the center line of Ave. G; THE·NCE south to the center line of 16th St; THENCE West to the center line of Ave. J; THENCE North to the center line of 14th St; THENCE west to the center line of Ave. M; THENCE North to the center line of lOth St.; THENCE east to the center line of Ave. K; THENCE North to the center line of 9th St.; THENCE East to the center line of Ave. J; THENCE North to the place of beginning. ZONE NO. 3. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said Ordinance shall not be affected thereby. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith heYe•~ are hereby repealed, but it is~expressly provided that this Ordinance shall not repeal any ordinance or parts of ordinances not in conflict herewith, and it is so ordered.
