APPORTIONING SAID LEVY AMONG 'lliE VARIOUS FUNDS AND ITEMS FOR WIIICH REVENUE
MUST BE RAISED, LEVYING AN OCCUPATION TAX UPON ALL OCCUAPTIONS TAXABLE AND FIX
ING THE TIME IN WHIEH SAID TAXES BE PAID, ASSESSING PENALTY AND INTEREST FOR-
THE NON PAYMENT OF BBCH TAXES WITHIN THE TIME SET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY 'l'HE CITY' c:ntf!SSIOO OF mE CITY OF L'UBBOC%, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: There shall be levied and assessed upon all property subject to
to taxation within the City of Lubbock, Texas, for the year 1935, the sum of
$5.50 per $1,000.00 valuation th~reof, and the same shall be applied to the
various funds in the following mA .. er.
Interest and Sinking Fund --------------15.00
Board of City Development Fund ---------• 50
SECTlON 2: All advalorem taxes shall be paid before the first day of
February, 1936, and taxes not paid by that date shall have to dsaid taxes
added the sum of 10~ penalty and bear interest from said date at S~ and
thereafter such fees and costs shall be added as provided d for State and
County Taxes.
SECTION 3: There is levied upon all occupations taxable one-half (1/2)
the sttm oharqed by the State of Texas for prusu1ng such occupation.
