BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CIT! OF LUBBOCK: Section 1. Any person, who for money or other thing of value, takes pictures or views or solicits business tor a~ person, firm, corporation or association of per- sons taldng pictures or views J or assists in aey-manner ·1n causing pictures or viewe to be taken in the City ot Lubbock, or who, for money or other thing ot value, shall solicit or take orders for enlarging, changing or tinting a.ny photograph or picture for an, person, corporation or association of persons in the CitT of Lubbock, shall be termed a photographer and shall obtain a license and pay the tees provided in this ordinance, and shall be deemed to be carrying on the business of photograpbJ". Sectio.n 2. Before engaging in such busine~e every person shall appl¥ to the Tax Collector ,and Assessor of the City of Lubbock, for a license and pay the tees herein provided. Section 3. All pictures and views made sh&ll., before being delivered, have plainly written or printed ·upon same the name of the person, firm or corporation making said picture or view, together with the location or place of business of such per- son, firm or corporation. Section 4. A~ person, firm or corporation or association of persons Who shall engage in person or by agent ae solicitor, as herein defined, shall make bond in not less than the sum ot One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars, conditioned that such person, firm or corporation will carr,r out its contract with its patrons, and• before rec~iving any money or other thing of value tor aey picture or view to be taken, shall issue to the person paying a. receipt which shall show the name and place of residence of the person or persons signing such receipt, as well as all persons, firms, or ccrporations with whom such person is connected in the con4uct of said business. Said bond shall be !or the benefit of aey person inJured in the premises for failure to carr,y out any contract referred to herein and ~ be sued on b,y any and all such persona. Section 5. Before engagM1g in the business of photography in the City of Lubbock, any person, firmJ corporftion or association of persons shall pay to the Tax Col- l e ctor an ·annual fee o! Ten ($10.00) Dollars, which shall expire on the Jlst day of December next succeeding the issuance of such license, and shall ~ in addi- tion a further fee of the sum of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars per year for each and every solicitor engaged or co~ected with the applicant in the operation of oaid business. Se ction 6. Any person, firm, corporation or association of persoDS violating aiT:f of the terms of this ordinance or engaging in the business ot photograpqy without obtaining a license and/or without pering the fees herein provided shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a. misdemeanor and fined in any sum not lees"th&n Te n ($10 .00) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars. Each trans- action and day in auch business shall be bald and deemed a separate offense. -· .. , J/llt...., -.. Section 7. It is further provided that if' ar11 word, phrase, clause, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be decided unconstitutional, or inoperative, that such decision shal~ not in anr way invalidate aqy other word, phrase, clause, paragraph or section not direct~ passed on by the court.
