L1 6( I i 0 2 -I \ -I .C:32 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 339, REDUCING INSPECTION FEES TO 25 CENTS EACH FOR CATTLE AND CALVES AND 10 CENTS EACH FOR SWINE, SHEEP OR GOATS; EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY l, 1932. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: SECTION 1: That that part or Section 16 of Ordinance No. 339 providing for inspection fees reading as follows:-"50 cents per head for all cattle and calves and 25 cents per head for all swine, sheep or goats;· pro• vided also where said slaughter house is located farther than one and one-half miles from the city limits an addi• tional charge of 25 cents per mile shall be charged for all distances outside the one and one.:half mile limit", shall be amended so as to hereafter read "25 cents per head for all cattle and calves and 10 cents per head for all swine, sheep or goats; provided also where said slaugh- ter house is located fanther than one and one-half miles from the city limits an additional charge of 25 cents per mile shall be charged for all distances outside the one and one ~half mile limit,.; and provided further that all the butchers and slaughter houses that have inspection done by the city inspector shall have such inspection done only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week. If such city inspector is used for inspection of any of said animals at any other time than on said days mentioned, then the fees prescribed shell remain at 50 cents per head for all cattle and calves and 25 cents per head for all swine# sheep or goats. SECTION 2~ That this ordinance shall become effective from and after February 1 1 1932. SECTION 3: That nothing herein contained shall have the effect of otherwise repealing any provision of said Ordinance No. 339. Passed and approved first reading this the 28th day of January~ 1932.
